World Wildlife Day is hugely important and highlights all the incredible things that animals, insects and plants do for us and our world. If you watched David Attenborough’s recent ‘Green Planet’ documentary (we wouldn’t miss it!), you’ll have seen all of the amazing things that go on ‘behind the scenes’ with the flora on our planet.
Throughout history the lives and accomplishments of women have so often been overshadowed by those of men - which is why International Women’s Day on the 8th March is such a welcome opportunity to learn more about, discover and celebrate women who have helped shape our world.
The January term can definitely feel like the longest! But now we’re almost there, the days are getting longer, roe deer are roaming and snowdrops are covering the ground – it’s time for a fun (and restful) half term!
