From when you first open your eatsleepdoodle gift, to what you should do when you’re ready for the next round of doodle adventures… here's a quick guide for how to make the most out of your colour and wash out goodies and keep them in the best condition for years of endless colouring fun to come!⁠ 

Step 1: Open your eatsleepdoodle gift!

Inside each eatsleepdoodle colour in gift is one textile product - for example, our colour in world flags tablecloth - and an included set of 10 washable fabric pens!
 

Step 2: Access our learning resources

On the back of packaging of your eatsleepdoodle gift there will be a QR code or website link that will take you to our fantastic learning resource pages. Simply scan the code with your phone or type the link into a web browser and you'll have access to the matching resource page full of fun facts and information for you to learn whilst you colour-in and discover!

For example, our world flags learning resource page has lots of information about each of the 193 countries including their overall flag design, official names, capital cities and continents so you can colour and discover the amazing flags of the United Nations member states, learning about what makes each country’s flag unique!

Step 3: Colour!

The next step is the most important of all – colouring in!

With your learning resources at hand, let the colour in fun begin! Using the set of 10 versatile double ended wash-out textile pens, colour in your eatsleepdoodle gift whilst you discover and learn.

What's more, our original doodle washable fabric pens are non-toxic, fast drying and super practical! They also work equally great on washable fabrics and can be used on paper and other stationery, too - they make the best stationery gifts for kids as our super versatile doodle pens can (pretty much!) do it all.
 

Step 4: Wash clean

When you’re finished colouring in and discovering all the fantastic illustrations on your eatsleepdoodle gift, you can simply wash it clean and start again!

Pop your 100% cotton textile gift into the washing machine on a warm cycle (30°/40°) and our highly soluble, water-based ink completely dissolves, leaving you with a blank canvas again to colour in. Best of all, the ink from your colouring in won’t affect anything else in the wash, so there is no need for a separate load. Go ahead and put it in the machine with the rest of your laundry – you can even wash it with your whites!
 
Watch the ink completely disappear and find your gift clean and ready to be re-used for endless colouring fun - again and again!

Step 5: Dry naturally

Once washed clean, take out of the machine and hang up to dry!

We recommend drying all our cotton textile products naturally to keep them looking their best for years to come.

 
Step 6: Iron

When it’s dry, we recommend giving your colour in gift a gentle iron. This is great to make sure you have a perfect, flat surface - ready for more colouring!
 
P.S. Make sure that it is completely dry before colouring in.
 

Step 7: Colour again

Now that your eatsleepdoodle gift is clean and dry, it is ready for your next colouring adventure!
