Spring
Springtime brings chilly mornings and glorious sunshine. The fruits and vegetables popping up in this season are artichokes, asparagus, lettuce and rhubarb.
Fun fact: the redder the rhubarb stalk, the sweeter the taste!
Wildlife you see in Spring include deer, rabbits and bumblebees!
Summer
In the summer, the hot weather brings out sweetcorn, courgettes with bright flowers, runner beans, tomatoes and strawberries.
Fun fact: did you know that you can eat courgette flowers!
Summer is when the insects come out - there'll be lots of butterflies and ladybirds!
Autumn
As the weather begins to cool, pumpkins and squash, carrots, cauliflowers, chillies and blackberries begin to grow.
Fun fact: did you know that there are 4000 types of chillies in the world!
With lots of gathering food ready for winter, you'll find squirrels and hedgehogs in Autumn!
Winter
In the Winter, you'll find lots more root vegetables! Plenty of leeks, cabbage, brussel sprouts (you either love them or hate them!) and potatoes.
Fun fact: did you know potatoes were the first vegetable grown in space!
