With Christmas fast approaching, it’s time to start wrapping all those Christmas goodies (unless you have been super organised this year). However, if like us, that’s your plan for this weekend then we’re here to help! We’ve compiled some of our best creative wrapping ideas to help you give a truly unique, fun and beautiful present.
1. Gift ideas for the little ones
Because who says the wrapping paper can’t be a gift in itself! Prolong the Christmas morning present opening rush and take some time out for festive colouring. This also works well with our world wrapping paper and just with blank paper too!
Or how about this fab idea from Line Across.com
Really simple to recreate using brown paper, black card and a coloured marker pen – this wrapping idea is a cert for any car fanatics and bonus – adds an extra gift too!
2. When is a ribbon not just a ribbon?
Forget wrapping your gift with ribbon! Why not make a feature of it, using double sided tape to create a Christmas tree shape made from ribbon on top of the present?

Or add glue on some mini pom-poms for 3-D colour and fun – even a reindeer nose!…

3. Get painting!
From potato stamping to finger painting – these are some great ideas both for keeping the children entertained as well as getting some willing help with the present wrapping!

Use everyone’s finger painting skills to create a string of Christmas lights! (ps. We think this would look super cool with pom-poms too!)
Potato stamps are just great! Whether it’s a penguin or Christmas bauble design, this simple technique offers some fab results! All you’ll need is some poster paint, potatoes, a knife (please be super careful when cutting the indentations in the potato for the bauble stamp) and some paper to wrap with (either brown packaging paper or plain white paper - you could use the white reverse of some rolled wrapping paper).

4. Recycle and reuse!
We’ve all got scraps and cut-offs left over from wrapping paper rolls – why not create a woven masterpiece with these for a really unique wrapper!
5. Quick, easy and fun – personalise all the ingredients of our fab new Colour-in Christmas Craft Activity Kit for each of your gift recipients – paper, tags and cards. You could even cutout some of your fave shapes and colour and collage them onto brown paper.
